Guest Post!!! - Elizabeth Baker Health and Fitness Extrodonaire
Hi Lovelies! I am so sorry I have been so MIA, but I am so excited to introduce you to someone I have trusted with my health journey and who is amazingly talented and passionate with everything she does, especially in regards to health and fitness. We met AIR here in Charlotte and instantly connected with our shared passion to help others live their healthiest live style. Here is a little more info on her background for you all! :)
Elizabeth has been a professional in the health and fitness industry for more than 10 years. Her passion for fitness was ignited once she was exposed to athletics in high school, where she was a member of the Girls Varsity Soccer team. Elizabeth received her undergraduate degree in 2003 and finished an M.B.A. in Management in 2007 from Saint Leo University.
Her approach to health is both holistic and integrative. Using food and movement as 'medicine', Elizabeth has found a way to help her clients improve their lives and heal their ailments, to eliminate or reduce the need for medications and many medical therapies, through nutrition and exercise.
She is an NCCPT Certified Personal Trainer and Weight Management Specialist, Desert Southwest Fitness (DSW) Certified Prenatal and Postpartum Fitness Trainer, Madd Dogg Athletics Certified Spinning Instructor and is trained in other disciplines (AIR® Suspension Training, Pilates and Healthy Weight Loss through Exercise). Elizabeth is also a studying Clinical Nutritionist.
Since Memorial Day is right around the corner (literally) Elizabeth and I were talking about joining forces to provide you all with some amazing dishes you can make while you are hanging out with friends and family this weekend.
Elizabeth has made you all a delicious Wild Caught Cod with Sweet Potato. Head over to her page for all of the details, but I will say the fish was marinated in tamari, rice vinegar, simple syrup and sesame seeds so I PROMISE this dish is full of amazing flavors!
Check back tomorrow for my favorite grilling side dishes :)
