Spinach Artichoke Turkey Burgers
There is something about having a really good burger that makes me fill so satisfied and since summer is basically here I know we are going to be spending most of our evenings out by the grill. Typically we stick with the plan ol beef burger and let our creative juices flow with toppings, but this time I really wanted to try a flavored burger (especially since we are going bunless these days). There is nothing better then a good spinach and artichoke dip, so I put together those flavors and made it into a burger. YUM. You definitely need to make some of these for your next cook out because the flavor is out of control.
Prep Time: 10 minutes Cook Time: 15 minutes
1lb ground turkey
1 can artichoke hearts
1 cup sautéed spinach
1 tbsp homemade mayo
1 tbsp nutritional yeast
- In a large bowl, mix together your ground turkey, chopped artichoke hearts, spinach, mayo and nutritional yeast.
- Mix together and then form 4 patties.
- Place in the freezer for 5 minutes to make the patties a little firm before cooking.
- Toss on your grill or stove top and cook for 6-7 minutes on each side.
