Crispy Baked Chicken Wings
Sundays are for football....and delicious food in our house. We definitely try to keep things healthy since our bums are glued to the couch as we watch our fantasy teams make it or break it that week. I have been playing around with wings for a while now to try to find a satisfying baked wing that has the crisp of a fried one. The secret..a little baking powder before they go in the oven. We found these just as tasty as any wing you can get at a restaurant without any of the guilt.
2 tbsp baking powder
Buffalo (hot sauce and melted ghee mixed together)
BBQ (recipe to come!! or your favorite store bought sauce)
Directions: Lightly coat the wings with baking powder and place on a raised grill sheet atop of baking sheet. Place in the oven at 450 and bake for 20 minutes until crispy. Toss a variety of your choice in your favorite sauce and put back in the oven for another 10 minutes. Dip in some greek yogurt blue cheese dressing and enjoy!
